Used to describe the overall poor quality of an item from design straight through to manufacturing and use.
Thanks to planned obsolescence and general crapmanship I have burned through two paper shredders in two years. That's bunk!

refers to the production or fabrication of sub-standard products by one who misguidedly feels their creations worthy of high praise; oblivious to their lack of skills wasting money, time, and perfectly good materials.

Taken from combining "penmanship" and the "cans" of spray paint the artists generally work with.

Coined in Chicago in the early part of this decade.
"The alderman gave Jaques an award for his amazing canmanship on the Graceland Cemetery wall."
