Slingshot Effect

When a driver is released from or breaks through a traffic obstruction and accelerates excessively as if to make up for lost mileage. As the driver is restrained by some traffic obstruction, tension builds. When the obstruction is removed, the driver "slingshots" forward, releasing the tension.
Frankie was unfortunate to get caught behind a bunch of blue hairs when church let out. When he finally got to his turn-off, he experienced the slingshot effect and drove like he was in NASCAR the rest of the way home.

slingshot around the sun

When a New York City cab driver takes you to LaGuardia Airport by way of the Battery Park Underpass, circling around the financial district. It's a quick but needlessly long route. From the movie Star Trek IV, in which Captain Kirk slingshots the Enterprise around the sun to warp back in time.
"He did some kind of slingshot around the sun... took 2 minutes but added $10 to the fare! That's the last time I let anyone do that."

slingshot sock

The act of filling a white, tube-sock with as much cum as possible, whirling and twirling it like a lasso over your head, and releasing its contents over an excited, or unsuspecting person's face.
The other night my slutty girlfriend turned to me and said, "I'm tired of getting facialized. Tonight I want the slingshot sock." Astounded and wide-eyed, I stammered, "of course!"

Later that evening, while soaking in a pool of vajamba juice, I fucked my girlfriend up until the point of cumming, pulled out, and filled my old tube-sock with man-goo. Whooping and shouting in a frenzy, I twirled the sock and saw cum splatter over my gf's hungry, open mouth.

slingshot teeth

Large gap between the two front upper teeth.

Slingshot maneuver

Used to describe a scenario where you have to slow down or go backwards (pull back) before you can rocket forward (accelerate out of the slignshot). This could be a scenario in life, in business, etc.

Also often used to as an excuse if things are going poorly / failing.
Mike swears firing the team before finding replacements is a surefire slingshot maneuver, but I think he's incompetent and full of shit.
