Another name for White briefs. A popular style of underwear amongst men. Tighty whities are usually seemed as a boyish choice and can lead to various forms of pranks such as wedgies and pantsings.

Wearing tighty whities is a comfortable choice but if you are going to high school, college or spending time around people who will see them you should expect plenty of wedgies and teasing.

As a tighty whities wearer I have experienced wedgies and pantsings- hanging wedgies, atomics and squeaky clean wedgies can be expected wearing these underwear. Pantsing are common too- you should expect to have your tighty whities on display in public if you wear them!

Tighty Whities

A mocking term for men’s white briefs, used because men’s briefs fit tightly around the crotch and are often white in color. The term first gained popularity among adolescent males in the 1990s, when boxer shorts began to usurp briefs as the most popular style of underwear among young men. In the years since, as white briefs have become less and less stylish due to the rise in popularity of hybrid styles such as boxer briefs and trunks, the derogatory term has become a generally accepted one to describe men’s white briefs.

I can’t believe I forgot to do my laundry last night. Now, I’m out of clean boxers and I have no choice but to wear an old pair of tighty whities that I haven’t worn in years. I sure hope that my pants don’t fall down today, since I know that my friends will make fun of me if they find out what kind of underwear I’m wearing.
