1. A condition which afflicts some Urban Dictionary entries; an 'up' option may appear, but there may not be anywhere to click to show one's detest of the entry. Usually a problem with one's browser or internet settings

2. Something so goddamned awesome that it can't receive a thumbs down rating. Not even thumbs down trolls can touch it.

3. See 2., except it's not really awesome, someone has just been flooding the thumbs up section to hyper-inflate the quality of the item, or the webpage is so subjective to a certain class of viewers that it has no on-site relativity

Thumbs Down Curiosity 

v: The slight feeling of question or unsureness as to why so many individuals gave a thumbs down rating to a seemingly fine/correct/appropriate piece of work (i.e. youtube video, urbandictionary definition, proposition to assassinate the president, etc.)

I mean personally i feel like that video was hysterical! Im having a little thumbs down curiosity

Are you suggesting that this is the INCORRECT definition of a MADE UP term...? Im sorry, but this really gives me thumbs down curiosity

Thumb Downer 

A person who visits the "urban Dictionary" website with the intention of reading peoples entries, and then giving them a thumbs down. Often these people have had traumatic events in their lives that have caused them to be so full of hate and anger that the only way they can express their hate on the world is to give people "thumbs down" on a website meant for peoples amusement and pleasure.

Jonnie: Hey man, I'm feeling angry because my Momma made me eat cold beans when I was little, and I need a way to let the world know I'm suffering and angry, what should I do?
Stevie: Why don't you go on the urban dictionary website and become a "Thumb Downer"? Just read something that someone has wrote for your amusement, then give it a thumbs down. I do it all the time!

Thumbs Down 

When talking about the Urban Dictionary ratings system, the opposite of the thumbs up. Where a thumbs up denotes a good definition and thumbs down denotes a bad one. There aren't many definitions out there whcih don't have at least one thumbs down. Whether or not people actually like a definition, they will give it a thumbs down, because they hate everybody, the world is unfair to them and they like to cut themselves.

Only assholes give definitions the thumbs down, unless it really sucks.
