Sample Zombies 

Sample Zombies are the mindless creatures that derive their primary sustenance from free food samples in stores. Generally, they are harmless to bystanders as their primary focus is the free food. But occasionally, when herded together, they can emit noxious gas and block aisle ways - causing disruption to folks who are actually there to shop.

A sense of horror rushed over me when I realized I was shopping in Costco at lunch time.
