This also applies to any car part from Japan, especially motors. Even if they offer no benefit over those available elsewhere (or are actually worse due to parts availability and shady importers) ricers will pay HUGE amounts of money for them. The tax is only increased if the motor was ever mentioned in an anime or used for early drifting.

You could build a B20 frankenstein motor with 225hp using parts from a CR-V and Integra for junkyard prices, but ricers STILL pay thousands for a worn out, probably stolen 200hp "JDM" motor.

Then there's the JDM wheels and body parts, which can cost thousands for no benefit at all. Ricer Tax is especially huge for JDM wheels, even if they're tiny, ugly and offer no benefit over a decent set of aftermarket wheels.

Passing the lead car in a street race, after the race has clearly ended. Usually performed because the loser is upset at the outcome of the race, and is secretly crying inside.

I dont know why Suzy tends to be a ricer enticer ever since Orlando hit it and quit it.

1) A person who clearly has no idea about how car engines work, but will add up all the engine modifications he has/plans to get with preconcieved horsepower figures to show how fast his car is.

2)A person who looks like hes working on his engine, but he's really just making sure his intake didn't fall off yet and he has no idea what he is doing or what is wrong with his car.

1) (man performing ricer diagnostics) "yea, well the car has 120 hp stock, but i got a intake, muffler, and performance tuner, so its got like 160 hp now, cuz the intakes 15 hp, the mufflers 15 hp, and the chips 10.

2) yea man, theres smoke coming outta the transfuxfibulator there, i just gotta retune my muffler bearings and it should be even faster than before.

When a ricer and a other car race, the ricer loses, the winner slows down to legal speed, then the ricer flies by and thinks he won, to save some face in front of his friends.

"Dude, check out this ricer, he wants to race, check out his 4-banger Dodge Neon, my V-8 6.6 403 could whoop his ass."

This happens when a ricer approaches a stoplight, and if he is first in line, he will swing wide in his own lane and stop at an angle to the lane with his wheels cocked, because he wants everyone to know his Honda Civic can beat their minivan by 2 carlenghts.
