When after watching the YouTube "main feature," one gets "lured" to the endless sidebar suggestions...for what seems to be the rest of the work day.
My wife's succumbed to a bad case of sidebar suck for the last few days with her favorite episodes of the "The West Wing."

sidebar journey
Often occurs on video websites, such as YouTube.
A user begins by listening to a familiar song, and once the song is over they will sometimes click a Related Video on the side of the page. They can do this for the picture, or because the song is by the same artist, or whatever reason. Hence "sidebar".
Before long, and after several songs, the user will look back at their viewing history and notice they've gathered an odd, but awesome group of songs. Hence "journey."
When you see a "sidebar journey" comment, feel free to give them a thumbs up for stepping outside of their comfort zone.
