rebate 

A false promise to reimburse someone cash for buying a product. Originally from the term re-bait which means to lure or trick someone over and over again. In order to make a product seem less expensive, some manufacturers offer a rebate of cash if you buy their product and them follow vague and difficult instructions that involve cutting things out, stapling things together, photocopying, mailing or shipping items and them waiting six months for a check that never comes. If the company really wanted you to save money, they would just have a promotional sale.

Relay for Life 

Relay for Life is a signature event of American Cancer Society. The RFL is made up of staff partner and volunteers, it is very important to remember that there is only one staff partner for 250 volunteers, therefore ACS empowers its volunteers and values time, talent and treasure they have been putting to this event year after year. To make the long story short, ACS is doing great job to support to research, education, advocacy and patient services, because of this signature event also there is a hot line of ACS, and everybody gets help when they are caught by this terrible disease. CANCER, does not make any discrimination.

Me-ACS is fighting to eliminate cancer, through fundraising Relay for Life event and supporting its researches, advocacy, education and patient services, why don't we help?

Fat man relay 

An event in high school men's track-and-field that normally takes place before the actual 4x400 relay. Each relay sqaud requires shot putters from that team to run one leg of the relay without dropping the baton (either one lap on an indoor track or 100 meters on an outdoor track). Very entertaining and comical. The winner takes home a pizza.

Dude, our shot putters just won the fat man relay...wish I could have some of their pizza...

Renay

Renay is a tom-boy who enjoys playing sports, but also making art. She’s a creative, kind, beautiful girl. Most of her friends are boys, as she finds them more reliable than girls. She doesn’t pay any attention to social standards, and is fairly confident. Renay makes many friends, and lots of people enjoy her company. She’s funny and enjoys making others laugh. She often passes time creating beautiful pieces of art in order to express herself or playing her favorite sports. Her main weakness is her longing to please everyone she ever met... so basically being too good of a person. Her empathy influences her whole life, as she is so sweet.

Australian Relay 

A race where two teams start from opposite ends of a 25 yard pool, and try to catch the other team. A team wins when they have successfully caught up to the opposing team. This form of relay is grueling and generally takes a while.

Man we just finished an Australian Relay at swim practice and I am exhausted!!
