It is not used to describe a single tribe, rather as a umbrella term for various tribes
with overlapping and similar languages and tradition.
They are around 2.9 million in number.
Around 39 tribes are included in the term 'Naga'.

~The many Naga tribes are not well known in the contemporary world.
~The Nagas were headhunters, but it is wrong to think of them as backward now as they have advanced a lot.
