Estrogen Amplification

The phenomenon by which females become exponentially "girlier" when they congregate in larger and larger groups. This is thought to be caused by the increased availability of estrogen, the "female" hormone, within a given radius. Some hypothesize that ovaries serve a role in communicating with each other under such circumstances. It should be noted that Estrogen Amplification also occurs in post-menopausal women.

The loud, uncontrolled giggling in the office next to me is the tell-tale sign that 5 or more females are in the same room - surely, estrogen amplification has occurred.

Estrogen Mafia 

A corporate management structure led by women where women ascend to leadership roles based on their sex and avoidance of normal corporate conflict; rather, they employee a passive-aggressive, gossipy, high-school-like approach to dealing with conflict.

It doesn't matter if she doesn't have a clue or understand the work her staff is doing. You don't challenge her in public meeting, she's part of the Estrogen Mafia. That's why the CIO hired her. Jeeze, you really don't want to work here any more, do you?

estrogen tent 

an estrogen tent is a party in which the females out number the males 10:1. estrogen tents usually include really geeky girls or drama girls who have parties and invite a few boys to seem "daring" or "sexy". these parties are very boring.

person a-"damn me and person b are the only dudes at this party"

person b- "yeah person a theres at least 20 girls here and two dudes"

person a-"this is a damn estrogen tent!"

person b- "lets beat feet!"

estrogen alley 

A place such as an office where women dominate in numbers and in making decisions. Favourite pastimes in estrogen alley include ball busting and emasiculating the few resident men but predominately bitching and undermining other women.

My new boss told me to check my balls at the door before entering estrogen alley.

estrogen 

Estrogens (alternative spellings: oestrogens or œstrogens) are a group of steroid compounds, named for their importance in the estrous cycle, and functioning as the primary female sex hormone. They are used to generally describe womenly hormones.

The counterpart for this is testosterone.

The battle of the sexes is a game that challenges the levels of testosterone vs. estrogen to see which group is the better.

estrogen fest

when a donut fest becomes extremely emotional and therefore acquires classic girl tendencies. Crazy girl hormones take over and the conversation turns to boys, feeling fat, being emotionally confused, etc. or a combination of two or more of these.

Last night at Sarah's house all of us started talking about our feelings...it was a total estrogen fest.
