"Dan" or "Daniel" is someone who makes out to be your friend and a good colleague... But then ditches you to go somewhere else

But in actual fact, he's a fucker for going.

Person 1: hey, where's Dan gone? I've not seen him for a while..

Person 2: he is now known as Deserter Dan

Person 3: Yeah, fuck Dan!

Person 1: what happened?

Person 2: He left us in the shit! So fuck him!

I can't believe Dan has left us, he/she will now be knows as Deserter Dan

B: Hey what about that game you were talking about before?
A: Oh, I abandoned it 30 seconds after getting the idea.

Deserted Term 

A weird unatural word, phrase etc. that you searched on urubandictionary to make sure that you created to make sure it's not a posted word to "create". Say you came up with a word, and you want to upload it onto UD, so you search it to make sure that you are the only one with that word and definition, to be cool.

Dick: hey I came up with a new word.
Charlotte: what is it.
Dick: deserted term, it means from the above!
Charlotte: ok cool lets search it on UD and make it a word.

Deserted Island 

A deserted island occurs when there is alot of toilet paper in the toilet before you poo (either laid there by you or from the previous user). This enables your poo to stay above the water line causing the entire room to smell much worse than it normally would.

"I went into the washroom to shit and some asshole left a deserted island in the toilet. The smell was awful!"

"The next person that comes in here is going to freak when they see this deserted island I left for them."

Deserterism 

The belief of disowning your past interests/friends in fear of scrutiny and the possibility of humiliation.

The followers are called, "Deserters", "Hypocrites" or in some cases "Desertocrites"

Regular Guy: "American Pie, the original, was a great film. It was hilarious!"

Deserterism Believer: "American Pie is NOT a film! It's a piece shit movie."

Regular Guy: "But didn't you own it on VHS and DVD, and have a poster of it on your wall back in the day?"

Deserterism Believer: "Well yeah, but that was, like, 10 years ago. So, yeah."

Regular Guy: "Oh, okay... I guess."
