"Gat" (ğát), noun. Afrikaans: pronounced with the "g" sounding like a piece of metal being sawed slowly with a hand saw, is a South African slang term literally referring to the "hole" in one's hindquarters. In English, this is known as "brown nosing". 2) "Gat gabba" (ğát-ğábba), noun. which is often used as a derogatory pronoun for a gay man, but may also be used for someone annoying and persistent, who is literally on your arse 24/7.
