Using a flurry of
words used to answer a
question without really answering the question a la Sarah
Palin; similar to verbal diarrhea or word vomit (as used in Mean Girls). Often times involves restating the question within the answer or answering a question with a question.
1) GIBSON: Have you ever met a foreign head of state?
PALIN: I have not. And I think if you go back in
history and if you ask that question of many vice presidents, they
may have the same answer that I just gave you. But
Charlie, again, we got to remember what the desire is in this nation, at this time. It is for no more politics as usual. And somebody’
s big, fat resume maybe that shows decades and decades in that Washington establishment, where, yeah, they’ve had opportunity to meet heads of state.
VIEWER: She totally palinated that question.
2)I asked him straight up if he was cheating on me and he responded by saying "
girl, you know i love you and you are my baby momma!" and I was like "whatevs,
don't even try to palinate."
