Pinging, mentioning, or otherwise drawing the attention of a specific person (usually a friend) on social media or a group chat so they see something that was posted (usually something that interests that person).

This is usually said alongside a user tag that directly alerts them, such as @username on Discord, Telegram and Twitter, @username.bsky.social on Bluesky, etc.

Adam: "Hey, I'm just getting into Old-School Runescape, anyone else here play?"
Ben: "Paging @Charlie" for OSRS
Charlie: "AYO WHICH WORLD"
