A severe deformity intentionally placed in someone else's hat or cap while the owner is not looking. Sometimes this is done as a dugout prank during baseball games.

Alright now! Who put the gurr in my cap while I was at the plate? (The player would then be forced to walk out to his defensive position wearing a gurred up cap, unless he had a spare available).
