Alto Sax 

One of the most underappreciated instruments in the woodwind section, the Alto Sax is tuned to E-Flat, a Fourth higher than the Tenor sax,an octave higher than the bari sax, and a fifth lower than the soprano sax.

Our Saxophone Ensemble features 5 Alto Saxes, 2 Tenor Saxes, and 2 Bari Saxes.

an instrument that is part of the best instrument family in the band. By playing a sax it allows the person to have an overblown ego. However they must be good at playing their sax, otherwise they should be stoned. Invented by Adolf Sax as an instrument that can play loud as a trumpet and as fast as a flute or clarinet.

alto saxaphone 

One of several instruments in the saxaphone family. The saxaphone is often confused with the saxophone, a wind instrument invented by Adolphe Sax in 1840. Saxaphone is a word used by uneducated simpletons that need to spend more time near a dictionary and less time trying to associate themselves with the many facets of coolness offered by the saxophone and legitimate saxophone players world-wide.

For sale: one used saxaphone. I'm not sure if it's a tenor or alto, I'm not a musician.

Alto Saxophone

A good instrument to play, not to big, not to small either. The neck strap can become somewhat annoying at points. Overall it's a good saxophone to play and it makes a great tone. When played with others it can have a great melody and harmony, overall it is a good instrument for a band and people think their instruments are better than you but it's all lies. The Alto Saxophone will always be the best instrument!! :)

Damn, look at her Alto Saxophone! I bet it has a great tone!
