The pocket that one places one's keys in when leaving the house or apartment with too much stuff. The key pocket is the pocket in your jacket or waistband that is easisly accessable, even with a full load. The key pocket enables the user to make it to their car in one trip, without having to set the stuff down or go back to lock the door.

Guy 1:Dude I had to bring a presentation to work today so I had to use the key pocket.

Guy 2:Sweet.
