Relena

A misunderstood and vital character in the anime series "Gundam Wing". Has an undeservedly bad reputation as a bitch among fans who think that her initial appearances define her character, as well as receiving criticism for her commitment to pacifism. In reality, she is one of the most important characters in the series, because her views give the people of Earth and the colonies hope, while scaring the crap out of the Romefeller Foundation, the main antagonists of the series. She is also noted for her (possibly) romantic relationship with Heero Yuy, the pilot of Gundam 01. Many people who watch the series note that the two characters rely on each other for strength, leading to speculation of a romantic relationship, and also helps give him a human side. She is also criticized for being a stalker, when in fact, she only follows Heero twice: once to make sure he didn't do anything stupid (he was planning on blowing up his Gundam) and again when he transferred to another school. Many people see her as a brat, but over the course of the series, she grows from a stereotypical rich girl to someone who would be willing to die for her beliefs.

Why the hell do people hate Relena? She's not that bad!

Character from the anime show Gundam Wing. dumbass character with an obsession for Heero in which she follows/stalks to his school, classes, and to outer space. Was a crappy ruler with crappy rainbow colored child ideals such as "eternal peace". Tries to attain peach by banning all weapons, though that task is actually impossible. First anime character to be meant to look pretty but actually looks ugly.

When I saw relena in her Sanq Kingdom uniform I thought she was a boy.

1. Queen bitch of the earth sphere. Ruined the lives of many anime fans by simply appearing on the screen. Her mere presence is enough to cause certain juvenile delinquints a sudden desire for suicide. Her death, while desired, never seems to come, and sadly, this makes people so aggravated that whatever war they may be fighting immediately stops just so they may find a way to make her shut the hell up.

Female character from the popular Japanese animation TV series-- Gundam Wing. (1995)

Relena is the pampered adoptive daughter of an Earth Alliance minister, and the undisputed Queen-Bee of her upper-class private school. However, she yearns for something more in her well-ordered life, and her chance encounter with Gundam pilot Heero Yuy soon provides exactly the kind of excitement she'd been longing - plus an element of dangerous flirtation. This encounter takes Relena down a path that would ultimately lead to her discovering her true identity and becoming a World leader after ressurecting her lost homeland. Relena strives for a peaceful world throught the series, contantly maintaining her pacifist philosophy for complete world unification and the abolition of all weapons. She is one of the strongest yet simplist characters from Gundam Wing. Her hated reputation is spawned from the fact she is enamoured of Heero Yuy, who is constantly confused about how he feels towards her. This fascination is often interpreted as obsession, and so Relena's good deeds and overall importance as a main character is often overlooked.

Example of this ridiculous malice towards Relena's character is as follows...

Hater1: "OMG Relena is so gay she has a pink limo."
Hater2: "Shes always stalking Heero too."
Hater1: "Heero so OBVIOUSLY loves Duo Maxwell. Relena is a whore!"

Hater1: "LOLOL Shes a stalking, pink loving whore."
Hater2: "LOL Girl, you know it. I know! Lets go have Heero/Duo sexual fantasies!"
Hater1: "HELL YEAH!"
