acribitz 

To increase; to go up in number, volume or otherwise gain size. Coined in the television sitcom "Veronica's Closet" by character Perry Rollins (Dan Cortez) when attempting to use another word for 'increase' because he has so frequently used 'increase' to describe push-up bras in various advertisements he writes. In the context of the show, the main character Veronica challenges the legitimacy of the word; but it ultimately ends up spreading so quickly that she sees it used on the evening news.
