grazing 

The act of looking busy in the office without doing any meaningful work.

Usually involves writing personal emails, scribbling random things down, pensive staring at the PC screen, occasional moving of the mouse etc.

Ah well, it's almost 4 O’Clock – no point starting that report now. I’ll just have a couple hours grazing.
