An algorithm used to scramble data which makes it unreadable to everyone except the recipient. This is often used by e-commerce sites to secure credit card data. Secure sites use encryption.

An intranet is a restricted-access or internal network that works like the Internet. It enables employees or those with access to browse or share resources.

This is the thing that gives you your IP address.

Meta Tags 

HTML commands that are placed in the head section of an HTML document. The meta tags that can affect search engine rankings are Meta Description and Meta Keywords to a lesser extent as Inktomi is currently the only search results provider that acknowledges using the keywords tag or meta data.

AT&T was the first to use the term T1. A T1 transfers signals digitally at 1.54 megabits per second in both upload and download modes.

Is the next step up from a T1 line as T2 was bypassed. T3 is close to 30 times faster as a T1 (1.54 mps) line and moves data at 44.73 megabits per second in both upload and download modes.
The T3 is too pro for me.
