adamning

To damn one with insincerity, in particular, deceiving many lovers into believing that you want to pursur a future with them. Adamning is most commonly performed as an act of self-validation, or to gain sex. (Originates from the distinctive behaviour of Adam Collard, love island series 4)

Kate: How are things going with Elliot?

Poppy: After he proclaimed he felt we had a special connection, he’s now seeing someone else. He was adamning me the whole time!

Kate: Damn, he really adamned you hard!

Scotch-egging

Verb: to use someone as a penpal or telephone buddy with no intention of ever meeting them In real life, often deceitfully, and most commonly with online dating.

Martha: I'm growing rather fond of Matthew, but I think he's scotch-egging me.
Elissa: Why do you think you're being scotch-egged by him?

Martha: He calls me every night but claims he's too busy to meet. Classic scotch-egg behaviour.
