Acronym for Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die. Can be an appropriate response to legitimately fun and relatively safe activities, or sympathetic response to unfun and potentially painful (but not really life threatening) activities. Almost always semi-sarcastic. Not ok to use in response to legitimately life-threatening situations.

"Want to go to all-you-can-eat sushi tonight?"
"Can't tonight, but glhvdd"

"I'm about to try and trim the cat's claws for the first time."
"Ok, well, glhvdd"
