veilitude

A revolutionary existential state of mind that simmers in the hearts of Muslim women and pushes them to seek equality, fellowship, and respect from behind a veil.

Like when some black African-American women wear hats to make them feel great and live in hatitude, veiled women elsewhere might be living their veilitude. Being veiled ( like some Muslim women) is a framework for how they navigate their part of society.
