but, a proper doctor now a days always attains a doctoral degree, which includes a doctorate of filosofy, or a doctorate of medicine, or a doctorate of laws , or a doctorate of other disciplines .

so, a doctorhood is a hood of doctors.

a doctor hood is a doctor with a hood, which is provided on graduation day. once conferred as a doctor.
