A dead-end or trap, a blind corner, but also meaning anything impossible or hopeless.

A person who scavenges battlefields or crime scenes, looking for money, drugs, saleable secrets, or food.

A complimentary term that refers to anybody, male or female. It suggests a certain amount of resourcefulness or daring, so it's a lot better than calling someone a berk.

To go through a portal, usually rashly or hastily. To rush into a situation blindly. A good way to end up in the blinds.
