Rach

Nickname and abbreviation for the Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff. Widely used in the classical world, as an abbreviation for long names for compositions.

For example, "Rachmaninoff piano concerto #3 op. 30" abbreviates to Rach 3.

Guy 1: I heard you went to a concert in the weekend
Guy 2: Yeah, they played Stravinsky's Petrushka and Rach 2 & 3

Piano

An instrument that looks like it will be fun to start playing, but is extremely tideous and difficult, and therefore seen as boring by many. However, when you become an advanced pianist, you will look at the instrument as God's greatest gift to humanity.

Guy A: ugh, I wish I never wasted all of that money on piano lesson. It has to be the most boring instrument ever! Three years with this piece of crap they call an instrument!
Guy B: I've played it for 17 years, it's the best thing that ever has happened to humanity.

kawai 

Kawai (Shigeru Kawai) is a famous instrument manufacturer based in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan. It is famous for it's grand- and upright pianos. Kawai pianos are well known for their clean and crisp sound, which most japanese people prefer over the deep sound of a Bössendorfer, or the dirty sound of a Steinway.

I prefer Kawai over Bössendorfer, I like the clean and crisp sound way better than the deep sound of a Bössendorfer.
