A war crime that wiped out nearly all Assyrians on the planet. It was carried out by the Ottoman Empire on the Assyrians, a Christian minority group who lived in modern day Iraq. The Ottomans blamed Christian minorities for conspiracy with the allied powers, and proceeded to attempt to wipe out the entire Greek, Armenian, and Assyrian population, and nearly succeeded. While Greeks and Armenians are still plentiful today because many of them lived in neighboring countries, thus safe from the genocide, Assyrians were located entirely in the Ottoman Empire, and thus, up to 80% of them died. Assyrians had their villages burned, Churches destroyed, and belongings stolen by Ottoman soldiers. Then, they were led on a march to nowhere, where most of them died. If you somehow survived that, it would be forced labor for men and possible rape for women.
Despite all of this, Turkey still refuses to admit that the Assyrian genocide and the others were crimes against humanity, insisting they were necessary to save the empire from espionage.

A man who owned a private island where he abused underage children. A former US President and a British Prince, among others, knew exactly what he was doing but didn't report it to the authorities. He also DID NOT kill himself.
Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself.

Marriage between two people of the same gender. I may not agree with it or think it's normal, but it doesn't affect me so who the hell cares? It should be legal because it's victimless and it only affects the people who marry. If it makes them happy, so what? I personally think it's unnatural, but I don't care because it doesn't affect me. In America we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and if marrying someone of the same gender allows some people to achieve the last two, then go for it.
James: Do you approve of same sex marriage? I think it's a sin and should be illegal.
Me: I also think it's a sin, but it should be legal because in America we can do whatever we want if it doesn't affect others. Is lying illegal? Is disrespecting your parents illegal? Is worshipping false gods illegal? Is using the lords name in vain illegal? No. All of those are sins and none are illegal, so why should same sex marriage be illegal? Plus, God forgives our imperfections and he loves all of us.

The Rookie Cop who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. His boss, Derek Chauvin, murdered George Floyd right in front of him, but Mr. Lane, only on his 3rd day on the job, was unsure of what to do. He followed Mr Floyd into the ambulance and attempted CPR, to no avail.
Now he is facing aiding and abetting murder charges and may spend up to 40 years in prison. He is being wrongly accused of something he had no experience to control.
He currently is free on bail, but this might change on his March 3 trial date. I hope he wins the trial, because he truly was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Thomas Lane is the only innocent cop involved in George Floyd's death, the other three assholes are guilty.

A year we, in the chaos of 2020, look back and think, “not bad at all”. No pandemic, no elections, no riots, just peace. Everyone seemed to get along, you didn’t get attacked if you accidentally posted something phrased wrong on social media, and it was a generally good vibe.
