From Male (Old French: Mal, meaning 'evil, bad') and speaketh (Old English: Speaketh, meaning 'to speak'). Meaning: Malspeof is a verb that indicates gossip, slandering, literally meaning 'to be speak bad for somebody'. It is an archaism, primarily used by members of Anglish communities, which try to purify the words 'gossip', 'slander' and replace them with older words, despite having foreign influence.
'If thee had not malspeof of me, would not I recounter nobility'. Translation: If you did not slander me, I wouldn't have reported that to the nobles.
