That's all I can say without spoiling anything, assuming the word "Yandere" didn't give it away.

Doki Doki Literature Club seems like a cute game at first...but the further you go, the darker it gets. Kinda like Eversion.

There are other reasons that one might change their name (such as their real name being embarrassing, too mundane, too long, or nearly impossible to pronounce) but this is the usual reason.
