Home-basing

Instead of calling it being lazy… we shall call it home-basing.

Because that is a verb, people.

And your family appreciates you just taking up space sometimes.

I am going to indulge in some lazy home-basing this Sunday. The kids will be stopping in and out for snacks and the neighbors might pop in for quick visits. Maybe I’ll catch up laundry and make cookies… I don’t know.

Hippy muffin scone

A coffee house baked good that is loaded with healthy seeds, nuts and dried fruits and is often sold in a trendy part of town.

I was in the Pearl and grabbed a breve and a hippy muffin scone. That thing was loaded with nuts, seeds and dried fruits... And tasted like the stuffing inside a teddy bear.

I really care about him, but he's a Maverick and can't open up these days.

Crungry

When you are cranky and hungry. A bit like hangry, yet more gentle.

I feel crungry.. And if I could just find that granola bar, I would be just fine.
