To mitch out or the act of mitching out. When a buddy suggests or commits to an action and then mitchs out because of some weak reason. Weak reasons can include but are not limited to: “it’s too cold” “I’m attending your moms” “it’s too hot” “I’m drinking already” “I’m getting ready for bed”

Joey: Where’s Mitch?
Ethan: He said he was coming. I hope he isn’t going to Mitch out.
