Soft as a rose, did they touch
Life’s electric current bouncing back-and-forth
Was it a dream? I cannot tell, but I remember the smell.
Souls dancing by fingertip How the hand long for a full embrace Was it real or imagination I can’t tell
Since that time fingertips numb no warmth, no spark, as if the sun refuses to shine on them
