Vaccine resistance
The news tells you that vaccine resistance is crumbling, or that mask resistance is crumbling, and of course they're going to do that to get more people to do what they want them to. What they won't tell anybody is that vaccine/mask resistance isn't dead or over for everyone.
As long as there are people that disagree with what they're told about vaccines and masks, there will be vaccine resistance. It might just end up being a few out of many, but that doesn't matter. Life is worth losing.

Safety in numbers
A bunch of people ganging up on the little guy (since little guy isn't always in a literal sense, little can also mean unpopular, the little guy is the underdog regardless of actual physical size).
The one standing alone isn't hiding from anyone else, no matter what somebody said he/she did. It's safety in numbers that protect the true suspicious folks, and allow them to operate.

There is safety in numbers because numbers protect people, they allow people to hide. The one standing alone isn't protected by anyone else.
A lot of people spend their entire life protected by numbers, because they know there is safety in numbers. They can hide in plain sight or out of sight when they have numbers on their side, it's a defense mechanism.

Pushy
Someone that keeps trying bring back legislation that got rejected before because they can't take no as the answer.
The girl was pushy about making laws to govern a city she wasn't even from like she owned the place.

Dollars
Losing hundreds of millions of dollars in investment is not the worst thing that could happen to a city, a business, or a person. A city keeping it's soul is worth losing millions of dollars in investment. Let another city sell it's soul and have the concerts and investment, not everyone wants that or thinks it's a good thing to have, the way the people who see dollar signs in it do.

Not everything in life is about doing what is popular, since doing what is popular or seeking only what is popular is a good way to take a fall or a bow instead of a stand. Once you find your rhythm, your mental health won't undergo the same meltdowns.

Mental health
One thing that won't help your mental health is not taking a stand you know you have in you. It's not about being perfect or meeting someone else's expectations, you always have an enemy within to contend with no matter the adversity coming from outside of you. Good for Simone Biles.
Mental health is something people ignore as long as they are physically doing well, but if you've been through some things, it's going to come to the surface at times.
