When your employer explains something to you and you just have to sit there and take it like a bitch because they pay you. The subject Bossplained is typically common knowledge dropped like it's profound and being said for the first time ever, an arbitrary matter of opinion, or a correction where your employer has limited knowledge or is simply wrong.

"God damn it, I just mentioned taking my kid to the soccer game and Steve bossplained to me that soccer is the incorrect word for the sport and that everywhere except for the United States, where we live, calls it football. I don't think that dipshit has ever been to another country"
