Telling somebody who already is the way they are to be themselves, then telling them to be more, do more, is an unrealistic expectation.
Unrealistic expectations don't allow anybody to improve on their own terms, so they don't really allow somebody to improve at anything. People don't try to improve at something for or because of a program. Really, they are better off deprogramming themselves, and unplugging from the bullshit.

She snuck a gun into the cafeteria and shot her husband dead when she saw the no good two timing deadbeat standing there in the kitchen, handing a tray full of meat and potatoes to another female.
