Vegetable

Really, it doesnt take miracles or Jesus to get up and walk again, it's as simple for most people as (fear of) not wanting to be a vegetable for the rest of your life. It's not a matter of being a fighter or miracles, it's a matter of what you wont get to do if you dont get up and walk again.

Not wanting to be a vegetable will keep most people going to physical therapy and all the other stuff, most people will try things they wouldn't usually try when being a vegetable is the other thing you could do. In that sense, no Jesus, black, white, or olive skinned dark haired Jew can be your miracle, you'd have to be your own miracle in that sense, and crawl and take your baby steps all over again until your body remembers how to walk again if you have to. Then do the physical therapy. What would make a cop shoot somebody in the back 7 times, it's almost to the point they seem to try and outdo what they did to trigger the last unrest by lowering the bar a little more to limbo under it. The last one died without suffering more than 10 minutes, they want this one to suffer a little longer. One has no life, and now this one has no legs.

Suburbia

Suburbia is not the country, the woods or small towns in the middle of nowhere. Suburbia is semi-urban areas built around a city, often suburbs have malls and chain restaurants. Sometimes a town that was not suburban for years become a suburbia in a fast growing city. (cities out west or in the South)

People who grow up in a small town don't have suburban values. Suburban values come from people who lived in a city/town that was always suburbia their entire lives, or most of their lives. A town that still has a display with time and temperature outside the bank is not suburbia, it's a small town, and wouldn't be confused with suburbia.

Self conscious

Caring what other people think of you is not the same thing as allowing other people to influence your decisions or what you like and dislike (or who you are). It is possible to be who you are and still care what people think of you.

Everybody is at least somewhat self conscious, no matter the image they portray themselves as. Usually the ones most desperate to convince others they don't care what anybody thinks of them are the most self conscious people in the world.

Young'n

A 25 year old calling somebody a young'n has an interesting way of looking at the world. 25 isnt 65, you're not meant to think like you're old in your 20's.

17 year old- What are you doing there young'n? One day you're gonna get old like me.
12 year old- As long as I dont turn into you, that's fine, I know I'm going to get older dude.

Responsibility

Something some people prefer to leave to other people.

Anybody who would gladly help another person destroy their life, even if they are a family member, is not a friend but an enemy. While the person who ends up with a wreck will have to take (and get stuck with) all responsibility for all of it, that doesn't mean nobody else tried to fuck with lives and bring nothing but drama and adversity into somebody else's world.

Females

You hear about how females are most at risk where they should be safest a lot, but female kids dont usually even get ass whoopings from their own parents, not to mention parents, the earliest authority figures, are less authoritative with females, and treat them more like peers or friends, which is a double standard you dont hear about much.

Treating females as a more at risk group of people for hardship or violence is sexism. Bad shit can happen to all groups, races, and sexes.

Trojan horse

Someone who plays all sides by jumping ship with the Republicans and backing the Democrats when its convienient. Someone who backs the side that seems to be gaining more popularity over party, country, or anything else, since that is the side that will keep them in power, and everyone else fucked.

The trojan horse seemed like a gift to the other side.
