A non-Asian person who relentlessly adopts Asian culture, food, and its holidays is Asian by proxy. They know more about Korean barbecue or Vietnamese pho than should be allowed. They understand the eye contact paradox (Westerners insist on eye contact as respect, Asians refuse to make eye contact to elders to honor them.)

A Lenny Bruce Moment occurs when a person says something offensive just to shock the people in the room. It is named for the legendary 1960s New York City comedian and social commentator, Lenny Bruce.
