Das Syndrome 

When a programing project does not have enough computer programmers to do the maintenace and development.

After laying off John, the system integration project fell victim to the Das Syndrome.

Data Rot 

Data degraded or no longer readable because of media wear or hardware no longer viable.

Those reel to reel tape are over 10 years old. We no longer have the equipment to read them. Someone should have put the data on a disk instead of letting it go to Data Rot.

Slack Time Error 

An error caused by scheduling an event past the time it will be looked for.

That problem occured because of a Slack Time Error. The trigger file was written but the program expecting it had already timed out.
