QuacksO's definitions

andeffective

A mealy-mouthed "feature" of some hyped product, spoken after cheerful and virtuous-sounding words like "safe" or cheap", and intended to not actually lie but sometimes to trick someone into thinking you mean one thing when you may actually mean something entirely the opposite.
When a radio or TV advertiser says that some medicine or other edible substance is "tasty andeffective", I never know if he is indeed saying, "and effective", or if he's really saying, "and DEfective"!

implied consent

Refers to the notion that if you get in the car with a dude and you get drunk, you are automatically agreeing to have sex with him.
Teenage driver: Dang it all --- I never really wanted to bother learning to drive at this early age, but I had heard all about the "implied consent" deal that new drivers automatically fall under, and so I figgered that it would be a great way to get all da hot chicks in town to spread their legs for me! What a rip-off!

snitchuation

An unfortunate development that occurs due to someone's either having tattled on you, or having stolen one or more objects.
Certain overzealous co-workers may be tempted to snitch on someone if they see him snitch one of the boss's donuts, but this favor-seeking action can lead to said busted pastry-thief's resentfully retaliating on said snitch, and the resulting snitchuation can then quickly escalate into an ugly full-blown snitching-war!

the buck stops here

1. When you give money to a dishonest person to pass along to someone else, but he just keeps said cash for himself.
2. What happens in the vicinity of a "willing" doe during the rut.
Some years ago we naively gave one of the local tax-assessors the money for our yearly property-taxes, but she simply pocketed the cash and dishonestly kept it for herself... she shoulda had a t-short dat read, "the buck stops here"!

wing-flaps

The thick jiggly folds of excess "webbing" that form below one's armpits due either to advanced age or his having gained more than a few pounds.
Teenager: Gramma!! Haven't seen you in ages!! C'mere so I can give ya a big ole' squeeze!!
Old fogey: Okay, but take it easy with my wing-flaps!

adolessence

Da basic spirit and aura of a typical teenager's experience of everyday life.
Adolessence may indeed have some desirable attributes, but it can also include highly-distressing features such as raging hormones, acne, mood-swings, etc.

card tricks

Refers to the assordid "magic" that a moocher plays on an unsuspecting victim using financial-instrument cards of some sort, and then "pulls a disappearing act" afterwards.
One of the most common moocher's card tricks is to show your "mark" a cash/debit card beforehand, and claim that it has sufficient funds loaded onto it to cover whatever expenses you're going to rack up, but then you either "forget" the card's PIN number or "discover" that the card has either been cancelled of has insufficient funds on it to cover your shopping bill or the gas-money for the ride that your "mark" gave you.
