GetMem

GetMem() is the Turbo Pascal/Delphi equivalent to C/C++'s malloc() function; which is used for dynamic memory allocation in computer programming.

When the C programmer whipped out malloc(), the Pascal programmer whipped out GetMem() in defense.

jaguar

A British car manufacturer that has a reputation of designing and building low quality so-called "Luxury" cars. Jaguars can often be seen with a Reject sticker on the windshield.

1. I saw a guy trying to start his Jaguar, and he couldn't get the engine to turn over for the world!

2. I wouldn't drive a Jaguar even if it was given to me free!

An electronic device which is designed to automatically answer your phone calls. People who are too cheap to get voice mail usually have an answering machine.

I got rid of my answering machine and got voice mail instead.
