"/." is generally accepted as the same thing as a question mark. Usually used when typing on a keyboard, the user accidentally presses "/" and "." instead of "Shift" and "?", where they were one key off.

man1: Hey man, hows it going/.
man2: What?
man1: oops I meant to put a question mark.
