Born Farookh Bulsara in Zanzibar on September 5th, 1946, Mercury was the lead singer of the legendary rock band Queen, said to be second in popularity and collectibility in the UK next to the Beatles. Known as the greatest frontman that ever lived, and a homosexual, he was among rock's first AIDS casualties. He died on November 24th, 1991, but is still remembered today by his serenading voice and powerful lyrics.
Freddie Mercury's rock opera, 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' is quite possibly the official headbanger's anthem.

A movement that which erupted in the 1970s promoting vanity, copiousness, surreality, narcissism, campness and hauteur. A spin-off of the word 'glamourous.'
"Glam is about femme girls and femme boys and girls who look like femme boys and boys who like like butch girls."
Glam individuals usually dress in outrageous fashion: jumpsuits, 3-inch platform space boots and heavy amounts of makeup.
David Bowie was best known for his involvement in the Glam Movement of the 1970s.

A thick mustache that extends beyond either end of a person's lips and often curves slightly downward except when smiling. It is reminiscent to that of Burt Reynolds but was popularised by Cheech Marin of Cheech & Chong.
In Cheech & Chong's "Still Smokin'," the Dutch mistake Cheech for actor Burt Reynolds because of his cheech-stache, and Chong is similarly mistaken to be Dolly Parton.

The worship of the all-encompassing Area, AKA David Bowie's crotch. A kind of pseudo-religious cult practise that involves repeatedly watching such films as 'The Man Who Fell to Earth' and 'Labyrinth' in which the Area stars. Areaologists believe that the Area is with them at all hours of the night and day and that its presence can be linked to the creation of the Earth and all its inhabitants.

The brainchild of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim in which Tom Peters presents various entrepreneurial ideas to the eccentric mayor of Jefferton.
Mayor: Mayor's Office.
Tom: Hi, there, Mayor. It's uh, me, Tom Peters.
Mayor: Right...
Tom: Just wanted to let you know I've come up with some plans that could help the city of Jefferton--
Mayor: Delicious, chip chips.
Tom: Well, uh, for one thing, the new season of 'Tom Goes to the Mayor' is starting and--
Mayor: Oh, my Michael...
