One of the greatest symphonic/power metal bands around. Doesn't need to be rough and in your face like other metal bands.

One of the Only Original Metal Sounds I've heard as of late, A great listen for those who like metal and are sick and tired of Slipknot and System of a Down

An Italian Epic Power/Symphonic Metal Band. Debut album was released in 1997 and is very original and very enjoyable. Major classical and neoclassical influences. Songs are complex, some are predictable but they have an impressive discography. A similar band is Luca Turilli who is of course the guitarist of Rhapsody.

Italian power metal band with arguably great music/songwriting, but *hilarious* lyrics and song titles. Most of their songs are quite enjoyable, if you can ignore the lyrics and mind-blowingly bad narration.
Actual lyrics: So we'll fight against the wind for the glory of the kings / to defeat the evil enemies / And we'll ride with our lord for the power and the throne / in the name of holy thunderforce

An Italian Symphonic Power metal band led by Luca Turilli and Alex Staropoli. Formed in 1993 the band has since released seven studio albums, one live album, one EP, and a live DVD. Lyrics are often related to fantasy and include fantasy related things. (long hair, swords, dragons (nuff said))
