When one has just eaten nice food and is asked what food they have just eaten.

I just yammed on a bacan sandwich with bare west indian chilli sauce.

When one is about is extremely hungry and is about to eat they can use the word Yam Up.

Instead of sayin lets go get food you can use "lets go Yam Up".
