Acronym for "Bunch Of Guys Sitting Around The Table." This is Pentagonese for the events transpiring in the War Room while hundreds of people are dying elsewhere.

It can be applied to any situation in which people of questionable ability, experience, or knowledge make important decisions.

"I lost my job because the BOGSATT said I was inept."

Wastemaster 6000

A fictional product that costs a lot of money to purchase and to maintain, and wastes resources. It either serves no practical purpose or greatly exceeds the needs of the user.

Often, Wastemaster 6000s are purchased by uneducated and unattractive men to impress other men in the hope that they will win friends.

The term is used to mock the uncool people who make these purchases.

Stanly Prickmeyer: Hey Joe, do you like my new barbeque? It puts out 800 000 BTU and consumes 50 gallons of propane per second. I can roast an elephant from 70 yards!

modular man

A guy who has many different distinct personalities and acts different in different circumstances.

Some are like chameleons, choosing to fit in with their surroundings. (ie. intellectual in a library) Others choose to stand out as much as possible.

My boyfriend is a modular man. He may have seemed obnoxious at the party, but when we're alone he's really very romantic.
