A city of southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. The chief Turkish administrative and commercial center of Herzegovina from the 16th century, it passed to Austria in 1878 and to Yugoslavia after World War II. In 1993 ethnic Croats proclaimed the city the capital of the breakaway Croat republic Herzeg-Bosna, and many structures, including a historic 16th-century bridge, were destroyed as a result of fighting between Muslims, Croats, and Serbs. Population: 110,377.

The Serb farted 5 miles, the Muslim 3 miles, and the Croat farted so much it could not be measured. On the evening news, it was announced that some unknown smelly gaslike explosion killed a grandma in Japan!! SO U CAN SEE THAT THE CROATS GAS TRAVELED ALL THE WAY TO JAPAN!!!
