Used as a Marketing Tool & Social Experiment. A fun nonsense word made up by Alan Anderson, owner and inventor of Search Bait.
HennWae? is used to create just enough curiosity to make someone search it on the internet. The word is usually shown with no explanation — just HennWae?, a question mark, an image, a product, a sign, or whatever else the creator feels like using.
If people bite, they search it and land where the creator wanted them to go. This campaign went to a charity based T-shirt shop.
Part internet joke, part social experiment, part merch idea, part charity engine, part Search Bait.

-Also, A made-up or misspelled word, phrase, or name used to get people curious enough to search it. If nobody else is using the word, the search has only one place to go. Businesses already do this; search bait just gives it a name.

Nobody knew what HENNWAE meant, so everybody searched it. That’s search bait. Put a weird word on a shirt, a sign, a chicken — let the curiosity do the work.
