One who is used by someone who's in a committed relationship with someone else and uses their standby for their own convenience, comfort and companionship but has no interest or intentions in anything serious. Their feelings don't match.

Every time she fights with her husband she runs to her old standby for to feel better but she doesn't realize that she's been emotionally cheating on her husband doing so.
