A time before Microsoft's Project Natal was revealed. Referred to as a simpler time by many as we didnt have to get off the damn couch to play a game.

ruck 

essentially means the same thing as "suck", but occurs when texting/typing and you type "r" instead of "s". Makes the sentence more humorous.
